Teen Girls Need Age-Correct Health Talk with Ob/Gyn, ACOG Says (CME/CE)

posted on Jun 24 by in the Uncategorized category Adolescent girls should make their first visit to an Ob/Gyn at the same age as is currently recommended (MedPage Today) -- 13 to 15 -- but the visit should include an age-appropriate discussion of the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases and contraception, according to a committee opinion released by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
